Thin type (#30) is suitable for fabrics such as cotton, synthetic leather etc, and creates beautiful seams with luster. As thick type (#20) has strong strength and appropriate elongation, it is suitable for thicker fabrics. It is also recommended to be used for general decorative stitching.
